Lovely to see some of your sketchbook musings and read about your process and concerns. I have no solution for switching from commissioned vs. personal work unfortunately, it's always been hard to change mindset quickly from one to the other.

It is soo hard to shift mindset between the two practices - maybe there will always be a bit of a battle there - I think that maybe a good way to deal with it is to probably self initiate little exercises to free up and get in that headspace again - easier said than done but something I'll be working on!
